Sunday Squeegee Thoughts: Week of 3/17/2024

Had a great couple of weeks with some fun engagement with the last set of ads that we ran. DSRT Wash continues to grow and make homes brighter.

Hard water spot removal? We do that too...

So it's time to run a new ad, and I thought it'd be a nice way to honor by favorite local Palm Springs artist SHAG by seeing how Microsoft's CoPilot interprets his art. (SPOILER ALERT: It doesn't come close to his genius)

Here are some of the prompts we tried:

"a picture of a smiling man from the 1970s with sunglasses on wearing a DSRT Wash Window Cleaning t-shirt. The picture should have a Shag (palm springs artist) theme. The smiling man should be cleaning the windows of a midcentury modern home with a squeegee. I want to be able to see artwork inside the home from the outside that shows a tribute to Palm Springs nostalgia."

Instead of a picture, I tried switching it to an illustration and added that it uses retro and vibrant colors.

Let's try tweaking it some more:

"a cartoon in the style of the palm springs artist Shag. The scene should be of a smiling man with sunglasses on wearing a DSRT Wash Window Cleaning t-shirt. He should be cleaning the windows of a midcentury modern home with a squeegee and have a yellow bucket. The whole scene should have a palm springs vibe with a fun backyard and a tribute to iconic Palm Springs figures. use vibrant and retro colors."

Really like a few of these...any ideas for new prompts?
